Partnering & Acquisition

Breastfeeding Housecalls was created in 2012 with sustainability, expansion and territory growth in mind. While it’s owner, Laura Gruber, IBCLC and the business name has become a household name among new families and providers in San Antonio, the demand for clients is outgrowing what one person is able to do. Because Laura’s vision is as wide as the amount of breastfeeding families served in San Antonio (and South Texas), conversations about growth and development are now welcome.

Healthcare businesses and organizations wishing to expand their insurance billable and private-pay services to new parents-while wishing to be propelled by the following and reputation of an established community brand, should engage Breastfeeding Housecalls about business growth-particularly organizations who have existing billing and logistical infrastructure in place, such as:

• Home Health Agencies

• Health or family wellness organizations

• Health-systems

• Physician practices

• Other birth-service entities

and if your entity possesses:

• A desire to continue being “the hands and heart of God in the lives of new families.”

• An unwavering commitment to complying with the International World Health Organization’s Code of Marketing Breast-Milk substitutes

• A billing vision that includes sliding scale, private-pay, and insurance billing

• A commitment to propel BH to its furthest profitable reach without compromising level of support and attention our families

....then we welcome a conversation!

    Partnership and Acquisition

To introduce yourself transparently, your organization and your vision, please complete the following:

This question is not being asked from a Christianity-centric perspective. We serve families from
This is not a financial question, and is being asked to gauge a level of thoroughness in helping families explore breastfeeding possibilities in families who want to breastfeed *before* objectively discussing other infant feeding options.
Organizations with financial ties to the infant formula and bottle manufacturing industries will not be considered.
This is an important question because BH is proof that lactation support can be profitable while remaining ethical-contrary to the belief that lactation support should always be free or always be fully grant-funded (even in demographics who can afford to pay for their babies’ healthcare). It is our belief and experience that when monetary value or savings is connected to breastfeeding in any demographic, families breastfeed more and employers who support families to breastfeeding more see more of a cost-savings.

For acquisition would be our brand and market-share, curriculum, website, phone number, negotiable owner transition, team-building and market-share expansion.

We won’t consider your introduction as binding. While it has the possibility to lead to more email exchanges, an eventual in-person meeting, and/or business negotiations, your introduction may also simply remain a positive networking experience.

Messages perceived to be junk-mail will be deleted.
