To see if your insurance pays for our services, please click on the button below AFTER reading the following:
Through The Lactation Network, our services may be covered by some United HealthCare and Aetna Plans. Many other insurance companies will reimburse client's for what client's pay us. We're happy to give a claim form for clients wishing to seek reimbursement. There is a $25 admin fee per visit for families who are approved for insurance payable at the time of each consult. Insurance companies may cover unlimited consults, or up to 6. If you aren't approved, we have a consult package for families who think they'll need to see us at least 6 times.
If you have insurance, please verify coverage prior to returning to our website and scheduling an appointment. If you see us before having insurance approved, you agree to private-pay your consult at the time of service. Cancelled and no-call/no-show appointments will be charged a $50 fee. No-call/no-show includes us calling you and you cancelling (even for non—emergency medical reasons) when we notice that you haven’t arrived at your appointment.
If you need to be seen before you have an answer about insurance coverage, you can self-pay your initial consult and have follow-up appointments covered, if approved.
PRO-TIP:
If your issue is super time-sensitive, make sure you choose “emergent” when requesting insurance approval in the TLN link above.
